"IS THERE ANY HOPE?"
By Jim Jarvis

In congress the door to common sense has too often been left ajar.
The human spirit is a joyous spirit and I hope that will carry us far.

The president of Russia seems to think he would make a pretty good Czar.
The human spirit is a joyous spirit and I hope that will carry us far.

When the likes of ebola erupt on the scene, our sense of well being it does mar.
The human spirit is a joyous spirit and I hope that will carry us far.

Terrorists rip the fabric of humanity and upon it leave a scar.
The human spirit is a joyous spirit and I hope that will carry us far.

I could really use a break right now from the trouble of where we are.
What did zero say to eight? “Nice belt.”  Har dee har har har.

The human spirit is a joyous spirit and I hope that will carry us far.
