                         "Music is Life"
                         By Kayla Myers

Music is the beat that makes the world go around
It's the same in every city, every country, every town
Music is the language that's known world around.
It gives the same feelings and it gives the same life
It can take you up and bring you down at the same time
Music is the one thing that everyone knows
Whether a lot or a little
                       No one has to know.
Each city and country makes a beat of its own
Put all together the music just flows
It flows through our hearts, through our souls, through our minds
The music makes changes constantly through time
It's bright and light when happy and glad
It's heavy with gloom and despair when the world is sad
Music is the beat that makes the world go around.

"I will be graduating from the culinary program in May and going into Business Management in the fall. I am constantly listening to music. It gets me through hard times and expresses my feelings in every possible situation."
